Antonio Brown is headed to trial in the legal battle accusing him of damaging a luxury Miami rental pad.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Brown and his former landlord Vladimir Kirsanov will face off in Florida court on May 25, 2020.
The judge has set the start date and warned if either party doesn’t comply, they could be hit with sanctions.
The lawsuit was filed last year by Brown’s former landlord and his company Aqualina 1402 LLC. They had leased the ex-NFL star a $7 million oceanfront Miami condo in February 2018.
The landlord accuses Brown of leaving the home in severe damage. He said the NFL star breached the lease by “destroying, damaging, defacing the premises, as well as furnishings, appliances and other personal belongings” of the owner.
The owner says he had to spend a substantial amount on repairs. He claims Brown refused to pay up despite demands. He is seeking unspecified damages.
