One of the fan favorites on the reality show, 'My 600-lb Life' has died. James King passed away this weekend inside of a Nashville, Tennessee hospital. He was 49.

James, who was a father of six, made his first appearance on the TLC hit series back in 2017 and made several appearances over the next few years.

As you can imagine, James struggle with his weight, getting as big as 840lbs in the past few years.

On King's episode, he attempted to get his weight down to 600 lbs so that he could undergo weight loss surgery. At the time, Dr. Nowzaradan who also stars in the show, actually called adult protective services on James' wife -- believing she was sneaking him food during the process.

"James Dale King, age 49, of Paducah, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2020, at Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville," it begins.

The obit continues, "James was born in Elmhurst, Illinois on June 2, 1970. He was a loving husband, son, brother, daddy and “poppy” to his grandchildren. James loved sports, especially wrestling, hockey and baseball. James’ favorite team to cheer for was the Chicago Cubs. His other hobbies included fishing and communicating to friends across the country on his CB Radio under the handle “Cracker Jack”."

James is survived by his very large family including, his wife, "Lisa Raisor King of Paducah; father, Donald Elwood King of Paducah; four daughters, Carrie Raisor (Ryan), Krystle Langston (Joseph), Courtney Parks (Josh) and Bayley Raisor King, all of Paducah...

James also has two sons, "Daemian Raisor (Lindsey) and Austin Raisor King (Olivia), all of Paducah. one brother, Donald King (Carol) of Paducah; step-sisters, Melinda Hicks (Todd) and Maggie Held (Jay), both of Paducah; two step-brothers, John Vogt (Sheila) and David Vogt, both of Paducah; 19 grandchildren."

He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Carol Stone King.

According to Milner & Orr Funeral Home, "In compliance with health and safety directives, the funeral arrangements for James King will be private."
