Mindy Kaling Didn't Name Father of New Baby on Birth Certificate

Mindy Kaling has decided to keep everyone in the dark about the identity of the lucky baby daddy of her new daughter -- she has left the name of the father off the birth certificate.

According to records obtained by The Blast, Mindy's daughter Katherine was born at Cedars Sinai Medical Center on Dec. 15, 2017 at 10:50AM — but the section on the birth certificate which lists the father of the child was left blank.

However, the certificate does list the baby's middle name as Swati, which was also the name of Kaling's late mother.

Kaling, who is notoriously private, has not revealed the father of the child and did not even acknowledge her pregnancy for some time. The mystery has been a buzz in Hollywood for months, because the "Wrinkle in Time" star hasn't been recently involved with anyone publicly.
