Meghan McCain May Be Leaving 'The View'

The controversial conservative panelist is reportedly considering an exit from The View.

ABC's daytime talk show The View has been on the air for 22 seasons and has become a place for many different political viewpoints to be heard. However, that often means that there are often tense moments on air and rumors of frustration behind the scenes as well.

In recent years, conservative panelist Meghan McCain has been at the center of a lot of the conflict both on and off screen, frequently clashing with liberal costars like Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin. Apparently it has gotten so frustrating for McCain that she is considering leaving the show.

According to reports, McCain feels "exhausted" and "defeated," like a "caged animal." While nothing is official yet, McCain is apparently considering turning down ABC's offer to return for the show's 23rd season in September.
