Matt Lauer's 16-year-old daughter, Romy, thanked fans for helping her reach 20k followers on the video platform, TikTok, as new allegations against her father surfaced.

Her videos have been going viral recently thanks to several appearances by Lauer. Matt's dancing and participation has helped propel the young girl to internet stardom on the social media platform.

"Thank u for 20k loves," Romy wrote in the caption of a post where she is seen dancing with friends.

Fans have started to support her and comment about the news surrounding her father.

"I hope you are doing okay. Stay strong," one fan wrote while others stated that it is not fair or cool to comment about her father on her posts.

"At the end of the day that's her father whom she loves and she is NOT RESPONSIBLE for answering any accusations. Be kind," a supporter wrote.

An NBC staffer named, Brooke Nevils, told her story of abuse at the hands of Lauer in Ronan Farrow's new book, "Catch And Kill."

Nevils alleged that Lauer raped her in his hotel room during the 2014 Sochi Olympics.

The disgraced newsman has denied all the allegations and maintains that his relationship with Nevils was consensual.

He released a statement that read in part, "I wanted nothing less than to create more headlines my kids would read and a new gathering of photographers at the end of our driveway. So I decided to just stay quiet and work on repairing my relationship with the people I love. It has been the most important full-time job I have ever had."
