Madonna Spends Time With Son David Amid Court Battle With Ex-Husband Guy Ritchie

Madonna was hanging out with her son David Banda amid her custody battle with ex-husband Guy Ritchie.

The pop star shared a video of David on the piano captioned, "Best Holiday Gift a Mother could receive ????♥️ #davidbanda #family #holiday #music.”

In the video, David kills it while performing a rendition of Elton John’s track, “Your Song.” One friend commented, “❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Amazing David.” One fan showed Madonna love, “You may have critics but I truly believe God, the universe puts people in our lives for a reason. The children you adopted were gifted to you and you have shown yourself to be so deserving of those gifts. Any mother would be proud.... Big up to you Girl. With God.... you did that? Continued blessings for the new year and years to come.”

The support comes after Madonna’s ex Guy Ritchie rushed to court right before the holidays.

On December 23, Guy filed a motion in the exes long-closed divorce from the pop singer. The two were married from 2000 until 2008. They share a 19-year-old son Rocco together. Madonna adopted 14-year-old David during their marriage.

Madonna has battled David in divorce court numerous times in the past. They previously battled over custody of Rocco during Christmas. Rocco currently lives in the UK with his father.

Guy motion is seeking to enforce/execute judgment or order, which means he believed she was not following the terms of their divorce agreement.

Following the motion being filed, Guy shared a rare family photo on Christmas. His sons Rocco and David were seen in the snap. He captioned the post, “From our family to yours — Happy Christmas!”

Madonna has six children total including 23-year-old Lourdes, 13-year-old Mercy and 7-year-old twins Stelle and Estere.

The two were scheduled to face-off in court on January 1. Madonna and Guy battled hard during their divorce. He walked away with a reported $92 million in the deal.
