The rapper went on Instagram live with Nelly. The two played their hits back to back during a Timbaland’s “VERZUZ”. The Jasmine Brand first reported, during the live, Ludacris debuted a unreleased track which included the line, “I love R.Kelly but around my daughters I’m not comfortable.”
Many fans were quick to call out Ludacris writing, “Lmfao Luda cropped a Rosanne, Cosby and R Kelly bar in 35 seconds lmfao what.”

Another said, “Nelly won tonight off the strength of Ludacris shouting out out R. Kelly not once, not twice, but three times in a 10 minute window. I don’t make the rules.”
One fan wrote, “Nah. Ludacris bigged up R Kelly then shouted out Mystikal. What’s he gonna do next, say free Cuba Gooding Jr?”
Another asked “What made Ludacris give R Kelly a shoutout on a song in the year 2020?”
“I got Nelly winning. Ludacris mentioned R. Kelly and ran it back 3 times. Then, ended the night with Runaway Love. Talk about a contradiction,” pointed out one person.
“I love R. Kelly…”? Ok Ludacris. This is having a bad start,” said another sarcastically.
The love for R. Kelly is interesting given the disgraced singer is locked up at MCC Chicago awaiting two separate criminal trials.

As The Blast previously reported, earlier this week, Kelly was shut down in his third plea to be released from prison on bond.
In his recent argument, Kelly said if released he could not obstruct justice because all the alleged victims hate him. He pointed to his ex-girlfriend, Azriel Clary, who recently destroyed his $4,000 Versace jacket on YouTube live. Prosecutors demanded he stayed behind bars. A judge sided with them by shutting down Kelly’s request.
Kelly will remain behind bars until his trial later this year.
