Rel, who starred as TSA Officer Rod Williams in "Get Out," and just landed his own upcoming show on Fox, titled "Rel," said he's excited for "new energy" in The Windy City now that Rahm Emanuel is not seeking a 3rd term.
The comedian grew up in Chicago and says he wants Michelle Obama to throw her hat in the ring, believing if she was in charge, "A lot of great changes would happen."
Obama for mayor isn't too far-fetched, she was once an assistant to Chicago Mayor Richard Daley in the '90s. There's also all that political experience she gained during her time in that other place ... the White House.
Speaking on other notable celebs from Chicago, Rel also talked about Kanye West, and thinks he probably wouldn't seem so crazy if he only spoke through his music.
He may have a point.
