The red carpet for Liam Neeson's movie premiere has been canceled just hours after he appeared on "Good Morning America" and discussed his strange interview about wanting to kill a black person.

Organizers of Tuesday's "Cold Pursuit" New York premiere informed media only hours before the event that photo and interview opportunities will not take place, according to the Associated Press.

The screening of the film, which stars Laura Dern, Tom Bateman and Micheál Richardson, will still go on as scheduled.

The news of the cancelation comes the same day Neeson appeared on "GMA" insisting he's "not a racist."

He took major heat following an interview with The Independent where the actor described wanting to kill "some black bastard" after he learned his friend was raped.
