Kristin Cavallari & Jay Cutler Joked About Prenup On Reality Show Years Before Divorce

Kristin Cavallari and her estranged husband Jay Cutler laughed about the terms of their prenuptial agreement on television years before their divorce.
On a July 2018 episode of “Very Cavallari”, Kristen and Jay are seen sitting on a couch discussing issues at her business, Uncommon James. She vents to Jay about her employees acting out at work.
Jay advised his wife to fire one of her employees to fix the problem. Kristin told her then-husband, “This is probably why you don’t own your own business.” Later in the conversation, Jay told Kristin he owned half of Uncommon James but she disagreed. The two laughed about it and said they would have to revisit their prenup.

The prenup has become a major sticking point in their nasty divorce battle. As The Blast first reported, Jay Cutler filed for divorce on April 21 in Tennessee Court.
Jay is asking the court to enforce the prenuptial agreement they signed before their marriage. He believes the deal lays out details on child support, spousal support and division of property. The ex-NFL star is seeking joint legal and physical custody of their three kids.
He listed the reason for the divorce as, “irreconcilable differences which rendered further cohabitation improper and impossible.”

Kristin fired back demanding primary custody of their kids, a cut of Jay’s NFL retirement account, and accused him of “inappropriate marital conduct.’
Over the weekend, Kristin and Jay announced they were splitting up in a joint statement. It read, “The statement posted on social media read, “With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce. We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of. This is just the situation of two people growing apart. We ask everyone to respect our privacy as we navigate this difficult time within our family.”
