Khloé Kardashian Admits She Was An Emotional Eater After Father's Death On 'Revenge Body'

Khloé Kardashian bonded with one of the guests on "Revenge Body," and related to the woman's tale of emotional eating.

Sunday's episode of "Revenge Body With Khloé Kardashian" introduced audiences to Hayley, who used food as a coping mechanism to deal with her father's alcoholism.

"I lived in fear of my father. And then that's when the eating started kicking in," Hayley explained, adding that she gained 50 lbs in 4 months.

She said her father delivered emotional, verbal and physical abuse until she was well into her teens, and it wasn't until she told her mother, who kicked her father out, that she finally felt safe at home.

"I was like that when my dad died," Khloé told Hayley. She added, "I am an emotional eater, so I totally relate to that ... because I just gained so much weight overnight, too and you just don't realize it."


Robert Kardashian died in 2003 after battling esophageal cancer. He was diagnosed only 8 weeks prior to his death.

Khloé, who was 19-years-old at the time, has discussed how difficult her father's death was to deal with on other episodes of "Revenge Body."

"I try, with every negative experience, to find what did I learn from that? What did that teach me?” Khloé had reflected.

However, she did admit that, "You know, at least I had 19 amazing years with my dad, and I have the best memories."


Hayley was clearly motivated to get into shape and dropped an amazing 64 lbs ... a record for "Revenge Body."

She even hosted a watch party with friends to celebrate the episode airing.

Afterwards, Hayley told Khloé, "I am so happy and so grateful to be where I am today ... Nothing can stop this powerhouse."
