The actor is lucky it wasn't worse.

As we reported, Kevin was pinned in his overturned Plymouth 'Cuda and had to be rescued by the fire department. Two other passengers were in the car, including his wife's personal trainer, Rebecca Broxterman, and her significant other.

According to the CHP, the female in the car sustained minor injuries, but the 28-year-old male in the car was airlifted to a local hospital. He also suffered major back injuries.

Hart's 1970's muscle car was the only one involved in the accident and it crashed early Sunday morning, after driving off Mulholland Highway and landing in a ditch near his home in the Calabasas area.

Since the accident, stars like The Rock have been wishing the comedian a speedy recovery.
