Kevin Hart’s ex-business partners are back in court demanding a $1 million judgment against the comedian.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the ex-partners, iGo Marketing & Entertainment, are attempting to score $250,000 more from Hart in their lawsuit.
Last month, iGo Marketing & Entertainment were awarded $701,593.73 in the lawsuit they brought against Hart. The company rushed to court after the judgment, demanding it be increased to $952,793.54. They believed the judge miscalculated the damages. The motion came only days after Hart was released from the hospital, following his nasty car accident.
Recently, Hart fired back pleading with the judge to shut down his ex-business partners. He believes the original judgment of $701k was accurate.
In newly filed documents, iGo Marketing & Entertainment accuses Hart of having no valid argument in his motion. They are demanding the judge side with them and increase the judgment to $952k immediately.
The judge has yet to rule.
