Kevin Hart is firing back at his ex-business partner’s $1 million demand in court.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Hart is asking for the motion brought by his former partners, iGo Marketing & Entertainment.
Last month, iGo Marketing & Entertainment were awarded $701,593.73 in the lawsuit they brought against Hart. The company rushed to court after the judgment, demanding it be increased to $952,793.54. They believed the judge miscalculated the damages. The motion came only days after Hart was released from the hospital, following his nasty car accident.
In newly filed documents, Hart asks the judge to shut down iGo Marketing & Entertainment. He believes the original judgement of $701k was accurate. The docs note, “The entire premise of the plaintiff’s argument is false and specious.” A judge has yet to rule.
