Kevin Garnett's Estranged Wife Claims He Violated 'Unconscionable' Prenuptial Agreement

Kevin Garnett's estranged wife is laying out the details of their prenup as she argues that the former NBA star violated the agreement she believes should be tossed out.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Brandi Garnett is asking a judge to combine the two proposed trials in their divorce — one on the validity of the prenup and another on the division of assets and support.

To make her case, Brandi goes into detail about what exactly the prenup called for her to receive, which she claims Kevin did not even live up to.

Brandi claims the prenup essentially stated that "almost everything would be his" and she would only receive "an initial payment of S500,000 or S1 million."

She claims Kevin was supposed to fund a joint account that was to be worth $12 million and that she would receive half if they ever part ways. She says the account had nearly nothing in it when they separated. Brandi believes that by not funding the account, he has breached the terms of the agreement.

Brandi also says the prenup called for her to receive no spousal support.

Since they separated, Brandi claims Kevin came into millions of dollars since they split. She claims they filed amended tax returns which resulted in an $11 million payout but Kevin believes the money is his alone.

She also claims that Kevin invested in a marijuana business and after they separated, he sold half of his investment for $5 million.

"Brandi got none of it," her lawyer states.

Brandi also claims that Kevin recently settled his claims against his former business manager, Charles Banks, who allegedly stole $77 million from him.

She is asking a judge to rule that all of their issues should be settled in one trial, not two, as Kevin has requested.

As The Blast first reported, Brandi filed for divorce from Kevin last year after 14 years of marriage. They have two daughters, and Brandi has requested physical custody of the girls.

Kevin says that he and Brandi have already agreed to temporary support of $100,000 per month, but he believes invalidating the prenuptial agreement will open the door for her to receive an additional "windfall" of support that may not be warranted if the agreement is enforced.

A judge has yet to rule.
