Russell Brand is in the middle of his Recovery Live tour, and during his most recent date in Sydney, Australia his ex-wife, Katy Perry, came up. It just so happened to come one day before Perry announced via her new music video that she is pregnant with her fiance Orlando Bloom.

“He was taking questions from the audience, and someone asked him about love,” a source told Us Weekly. “Then, another person called out Katy’s name and Russell said she is a ‘lovely human being’ but wouldn’t say more.”

Brand talks a lot about his person life during the tour's appearances. More info on it from his website:

In his Recovery Live shows, Brand explores wellness, spirituality, personal development, and change. He also discusses the system he used to overcome his own addictions – building on the concepts presented in his book. Along the way, he injects some humor – although not the kind he’s delivered in his prolific standup career. Overall, he seeks to help those who might be struggling in all aspects of life including relationships, careers, sex, and more.

"OMG so glad I don’t have to suck it in anymore," Perry tweeted after the video was released. "Or carry around a big purse lol," she added.

This will be Bloom and Perry's first child together, although he has a nine-year-old son Flynn with his ex-wife Miranda Kerr.

Perry held a Q&A with fans on Instagram Live after the video was released and said she's "been eating the same burrito for weeks on end" and "literally never cared for spice and now I have to carry Tabasco sauce in my purse.

"Foods that gross me out now are beef," she added. "I'm not really into red meat. Thank God for the Impossible Burger."

"There’s a lot that will be happening this summer. Not only will I be giving birth literally, but also figuratively to something you guys have been waiting for. So let’s just call it a double whammy," she said, hinting at a summer release for the full album.

"I am excited," Perry continued. "We're excited and happy. It's probably the longest secret I've ever had to keep. I like to tell you guys everything, but I knew I would tell you in the best way, which was through a piece of music because that's how I speak to you. That's how we speak together with each other."
