The pop star added he is now committed to using his massive platform to help amplify voices who are speaking up about racial injustice.

"I am committed to using my platform from this day forward to learn, to speak up about racial injustice and systemic oppression, and to identify ways to be a part of the much-needed change," he wrote.

Earlier this week, Justin Bieber addressed the brutal killing of George Floyd by posting -- "No lives matter until black lives matter."

At the time, he included a photo with a quote from Martin Luther King Jr. which read, "Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter."

Hailey Bieber: Anyone Who Doesn't Believe In White Privilege Is Ignorance At It's Finest

Justin's wife, Hailey Baldwin, has also addressed the ongoing situation in this country saying anyone who doesn't believe white privilege exists, is ignorant.

"It’s heartbreaking that we’re honoring yet another life that was lost due to the violence and racism our country displays far too often. To say that racism is alive today would be a gross understatement, and to say that white privilege doesn’t exist is ignorance at its finest," Hailey she posted on Instagram.

She continued...

'People Need To Be Behind Bars For Their Actions'

"We live in a country that denies the same freedom and rights to someone based on the color of their skin... black men, women and children are being MURDERED because of the color of their skin while white men, women and children majority of the time receive a slap on the wrist at best."

In her post, Hailey specifically addressed the criminal charges against the four officers responsible for George Floyd's death.

"I am tired, I’m angry, I’m sad, and I will not stay quiet. Changes need to be made, and people need to be behind bars for their actions...Rest In Peace George Floyd."
