Johnny Manziel's Wife Bre Tiesi Files For Divorce

Former NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel's wife Bre Tiesi has filed for divorce.

According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, Tiesi filed for dissolution of marriage in Los Angeles County Court on Wednesday.

The couple has been broken up since March of 2019, and both publically addressed the break-up. They have no children together, and she cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the filing of divorce.

Johnny previously addressed the breakup saying, “This is all very, very personal and very sad, “I appreciate everyone who has been so supportive of both of us and I would just ask that everyone respect our privacy at this difficult time. My hope is to put my head down and be allowed to focus on work and what is required of me on the football field.”

Bre also addressed the breakup on social media, responding to fans on Instagram saying, "maybe u should wonder why I would leave him instead of worrying about ‘money’ lucky for him I don’t air out personals and lucky for u you are behind a screen u low life."

In another comment, Bre wanted it to be clear she believed Manziel was in the wrong for some of his behavior, "u been married? U been betrayed? I don’t do betrayal for a person I was devoted to period. Vows were broken f money and f u and every other loser on here," she posted.

Johnny Manziel and Tiesi were married in a private ceremony in a California courthouse, in March of 2018. At the time, the couple kept the marriage a secret from everybody except their closet friends and family.

Several reports at the time suggested, Tiesi was a stabilizing force for the troubled NFL star's life and may help settle him down. The couple were got engaged in Paris after dating since 2016.

Johnny has not yet responded to the divorce.

During her time apart from Johnny, Tiesi was recently seen in Los Angeles hanging with Cleveland Cavaliers star Jordan Clarkson.

Johnny Football is actually the spokesperson for Direct Auto Insurance. Along Fat Joe and Tonya Harding, the former QB has done commercials for the organization.

"Who’s ready for some football? During the offseason, I had some time to hang with my friends at @DirectAutoIns. They’ll look past your past and help you get the car insurance you need," he posted on Instagram over the summer.

The captioned came alongside a video of Manziel selling the insurance.

The best part, the commercial actually references the fact that "Johnny Football" has been in several situations where he didn't know if he would be getting a paycheck. Obviously, this is similar to his professional football career where he has been in and out of several leagues in the past few years.
