Johnny Depp has sold his beloved Kentucky farm and charming ranch-style home after he slashed the asking price in nearly half. The "Pirates of The Caribbean" actor had the 41-acre estate originally listed for almost $3.4 million and, according to the Lexington Herald-Leader, it's reportedly worth $2.33 but the actor only walked away with $1.3 million. This is the second time Johnny Depp has sold the property since first purchasing it back in the '90s for a cool $950,000. The selling of his Kentucky farm comes as he continues his nasty legal battle with his former wife, Amber Heard.

The sprawling 6,000-square-foot house has a whopping 7 bedrooms, four-car garage, a guesthouse, three barns, and 15 horse stalls. Complete with a pool, the charming property also includes a sunroom, managers quarters, and gourmet kitchen. Johnny Depp initially sold the farm in 2001 for $1 million which isn't that far off what he collected this time. The 56-year-old Kentucky native repurchased the property four years later for his mother, Sue Palmer, who lived in the home before passing away in 2016. The house is nicknamed "Betty Sue’s Family Farm," in honor of his late mom.

It was put on auction following her death but Johnny Depp's business manager reportedly refused to accept the top bid which was $1.4 million. Three days after his Sue Palmer's death, Amber Heard filed for divorce after just 15 months of marriage. Johnny Depp was extremely close to his mother and even has a tattoo of her name inside a heart on his left arm. The property selling comes as the "Sweeney Todd" actor continues his $50 million defamation lawsuit against his ex. As The Blast reported, Johnny Depp recently got some big names to speak out in his favor against Amber Heard's accusations that her ex was violent in their relationship.

"I have known Johnny Depp for more than 25 years. We’ve been partners for 14 years and we raised our two children together," she went on record saying. "Through all these years I’ve known Johnny to be a kind, attentive, generous, and non-violent person and father.” She went on to say she's aware of Amber Heard's allegations of domestic violence but called her accusations "false facts." Vanessa Paradis continued, "This is nothing like the true Johnny I have known, and from my personal experience of many years, I can say he was never violent or abusive to me." She went on to explain, "I have seen that these outrageous statements have been really distressing, and also caused damage to his career because, unfortunately, people have gone on believing these false facts."

Several other famous friends, actresses, and ex-partners have come to Johnny's defense including Winona Ryder and Penelope Cruz. Their declarations could become extremely important as the two stars continue to head towards a trial in Virginia.
