Jen's Back In a Big Way

Actress Jennifer Aniston is definitely back in the game. She's starring in the Apple TV+ series "The Morning Show," which so far has gotten so-so reviews.

She also recently joined Instagram, and basically almost broke the site, making records for the high number of followers she got almost immediately.

And the news that there's going to be some sort of "Friends" reunion -- well, that's just put people over the edge.

It's unclear exactly why people started shipping Aniston's former relationship with Justin Theroux again, but it seems like the timing is right for everything else in her life, so why not this?

Aniston recently shared a series of photos of her walking with her dog, Clyde, and fans fell in love again. Aniston captioned the photo series “Girl’s best friend… bring Clyde to work day."

We All Love Her

And there was Theroux, commenting again on her Instagram. He even wrote on her page when she first joined Instagram, saying “Woot–Woot! 🙌❤ #first." It seems like he just can't get enough, and neither can fans.

Clyde was a dog that Theroux and Aniston brought up together, so it's likely they still share those same feelings. It would make sense for Theroux to jump into her IG to comment on the photo.

"Clydeooooo!!! 🐾❤️" Theroux wrote, and people responded. Someone wrote “@justintheroux Wish you guys can just get back together! @jenniferaniston 💕."

Someone else was a little more bold: “@justintheroux PLEASE REMARRY EACH OTHER."

The two are both animal lovers, so why not?

The Marriage Is No More

That still seems unlikely, since the marriage is very over and done with. But what does seem likely is that the two are continuing their cordial friendship together.

For some background, they first got engaged in 2012, though it wasn't until summer of 2015 that they actually married. The good times only lasted a couple years; they broke up toward the end of 2017. But they didn't announced the split until February 2018.

At that time, the two put out a joint statement, saying:

“In an effort to reduce any further speculation, we have decided to announce our separation. This decision was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year. We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship."

Given the ease with which they're interacting on IG, it seems pretty clear they have kept their friendship going strong. That's nice to see when so many divorces end up being ugly messes. Maybe their love of dogs has been the key to all this.
