Will Jenelle Evans ever return to MTV for more "Teen Mom" episodes? That's a question fans have been pondering since she was fired from the series earlier this year.

She added fuel to those rumors on Thursday by posting a message to her Instagram Story: “My journey WILL continue to be shared. No matter what happens," she wrote. "Thanks for all your support everyone!”

Radar Online recently reported that Evans and MTV have been in talks. “Jenelle has been talking to MTV, and it has been about her coming back,” a source told the outlet.

Ratings have reportedly plummeted since she was kicked off the show for siding with her estranged husband David Eason after he killed their family dog.

From Radar Online:

The season premiere without Jenelle premiered on Sept. 10, 2019 to a dismal 810,000 viewers, which was a shocking drop from the 1.18 million viewers for the previous season premiere, according to

And the numbers kept dropping, hitting a season low of 650,000 for the Oct. 29 episode.

Evans made the announcement that she was leaving Eason in October, just a few months after the dog-killing incident that got her fired.

"I've mostly kept off social media the past few days because I've been focused on making some big life decisions. I've lived my life on camera since I was 17 years old. And alot (sic) of it hasn't been pretty. But its (sic) been my life," Evans wrote on Instagram at the time. "Like anyone else I want what's best for my kids and I want to be happy."

"With time away from Teen Mom, I've started to look at my life differently and I know I need to make changes. I'm starting that now," she continued. "The kids and I have moved away from David. Nobody gets into a marriage expecting it to end but I know that's what is best for me, and for my kids. Today I’ve filed papers to start that process. I appreciate the support from everybody who has asked how I am. Me and the kids are doing great. We need some time to be together, but you'll hear from us again soon."
