The Blast

As The Blast previously reported, Mitchell has had quite the year after being accused of sexual harassment on the set of “The Chi.” His costar, Tiffany Boone complained to producers about Mitchell making her feel uncomfortable on set.

In a matter of months, Mitchell was dropped from the Showtime show, fired by his talent agent UTA and dropped by his management team.

The actor faced similar accusations on the set of a Netflix film “Desperados.” He was fired after an actress complained about his behavior on set.

Earlier this year, Mitchell was sued over a $60,000 loan. The bank says he defaulted on his payments weeks after losing his job on “The Chi.”

Comerica Bankfiled suit against Mitchell and his company Blackunicorn, Inc. The bank loaned the money to the actor in December 2016. He made all payments until June 2019 which was the month he was accused of sexual harassment by Boone.

Comerica Bank says despite numerous demands for payment Mitchell has refused to pay up. The current balance of the loan is $59,268.50 (principal) + $3,149.46 (interest) and $145 (late charges). They say “no part of such balance has been paid.” The case is ongoing.
