Janet Jackson's nanny was so upset that Wissam Al Mina refused to give her the WiFi password that she fanned the flames on an already sensitive situation and caused the cops to get involved.
Sources directly connected to Jackson and Wissam tell The Blast the welfare check Saturday night on the couple's 1-year-old son was a result of the boy's nanny seeking vengeance for not getting access to the hotel room's WiFi.
We're told when Wissam refused to give her the password, she immediately called Janet and "stirred the pot" which ended with a visit from sheriffs deputies.
As we previously reported, Jackson and her estranged Qatari business magnate husband have been involved in a bitter custody dispute. We're told the nanny works for Janet, and Wissam believes she was trying to get him in trouble over the WiFi incident. A source close to the ex-couple tells us the entire incident "Seems like a lot of nothing."
We're told both parents care about the wellbeing of their son and hope that they can move on from this incident quickly.
