Vara Gordon has been battling cancer for much of her young life, but even though she's facing a new round of scans, she's laser focused on a chance to sing some "Carpool Karaoke" with James Corden.

12-year-old Vara has been battling stage 3 Wilms tumor, a childhood cancer that makes its start in the kidneys. Vara is a huge fan of James Corden, and back in November she made a video with Milk Tyson, who started the FAM Foundation to help fight childhood cancer.

Tyson and Vara, with the help of Cara Delevingne, made a plea to appear alongside the "Late Late Show" host on his singing show, and put the message out on Twitter. Hours after she made the request, Corden actually answered! "Let's do it Vara! You ready?" Corden challenged.

We're told the meeting has not been officially set, but Vara is looking forward to the shot at glory. We're told Vara talks non-stop about the opportunity to meet Corden. Vara's mom is also excited for her daughter to sing with Corden, and says, "What James doesn’t know yet, is that he is the lucky one."
