Hilary Duff Calls Young Millennials 'A--holes' For Going Out During Coronavirus Outbreak

Hilary Duff has a stern message for those who continue to go out despite the widespread outbreak of Coronavirus. Taking to her Instagram Story on Sunday, the "Lizzie McGuire" star addressed "young millennials," calling them "assholes" and saying they are "killing old people" by ignoring the warnings to stay inside during this trying time. The 32-year-old actress appeared makeup-free and was seen hanging with her one-year-old daughter, Banks Violet Bair, at home while delivering the serious message to her nearly 15 million Instagram followers.

After revealing that Netflix's "Love Is Blind" has been her guilty pleasure while in self-quarantine, she told her fans their family may start re-watching "Game Of Thrones," while making it seem that they are already getting restless. That's when she got serious, delivering the diss to those who are still partying in public amid the outbreak. "To all you young millennial assholes that keep going out and partying, go home," Hilary Duff stated in the video. "Stop killing old people, please," she added.

Days before posting her "asshole" message, Hilary Duff spoke out about COVID-19 testing, telling the United States to "step it up." Taking to her social media, the actress shared a note reading, "US testing 1,000 people a day for COVID 19. South Korea testing 20,000??? Cmon USA, step it up." In the caption, she wrote, "These are scary times. We all have to stay calm but be smart. Take the precautions to stay healthy and keep our mothers and fathers and grandparents risk low until this passes. Love to all."

Marriage Trouble?


Her "young millennials" video isn't the only reason Hilary Duff has made headlines. Over the weekend, she also debunked rumors that there's already trouble in her marriage to Matthew Koma. The duo wed in a backyard ceremony on December 21, 2019, and responded to a story that their relationship is "on the rocks." Posting on her Instagram Story, Hilary Duff held up the tabloid about their marriage woes while tagging her husband of nearly three months. "Apearantly [sic] matt and I are having trouble," she wrote. "He hasn't told me yet..." Matthew Koma then reposted the video on his Instagram Story denying its validity.
