While on the promotional trail for his new album Fine Line, Harry Styles dropped by The Ellen Show for an interview, and Degeneres couldn't help herself when it came to needling him about his ex, Kendall Jenner.
Styles recently filled in for James Corden as a guest host for The Late, Late Show, and Jenner was one of his guests. Ellen brought that up, asking "you and Kendall are really good friends now, right?" Styles nervously replied "Yeah, we’ve been friends for a while now, yeah. For, like, several years, yeah."
Ellen continued to push before Styles changed the subject with a loud "OK!"
Things didn't seem awkward between the exes on The Late, Late Show, where they played a hilarious game of "Spill Your Guts." She even felt bold enough to ask which of his songs were written about her; Styles chose to eat something disgusting rather than answer.
Jenner and Styles were linked on and off from 2013 until 2015, and they have remained on good terms. I guess when you're young and hot, a breakup doesn't have to be the end of the world.

Styles' sexuality has been the topic of discussion since his One Direction days, and the singer recently put the rumors to rest in an interview with The Guardian.
"It’s not like I’m sitting on an answer, and protecting it, and holding it back. It’s not a case of: I’m not telling you cause I don’t want to tell you. It’s not: ooh this is mine and it’s not yours. It’s: who cares? Does that make sense? It’s just: who cares?"
Styles continued, explaining that his sexual expression isn't so serious.
"Am I sprinkling in nuggets of sexual ambiguity to try and be more interesting? No. In terms of how I wanna dress, and what the album sleeve’s gonna be, I tend to make decisions in terms of collaborators I want to work with. I want things to look a certain way. Not because it makes me look gay, or it makes me look straight, or it makes me look bisexual, but because I think it looks cool.
And more than that, I dunno, I just think sexuality’s something that’s fun. Honestly? I can’t say I’ve given it any more thought than that."
