Halsey Pays Tribute To Juice WRLD By Dedicating 'Without You' To Late Rapper

Halsey paid homage to Juice WRLD days after the rapper's death by playing their remix to "Without You" and saying a few emotional words about her friend during her show last night. The "Graveyard" singer stopped her performance at the Pandora Live concert in Brooklyn on Wednesday night to remember the talented rapper. Stating she would be performing their remix to her hit song because her version with Juice WRLD "is the better version of this song," she continued, “and I think everybody knows that deep down inside. But I really want to play it tonight for him.”

The American Music Award winner didn't stop there. Halsey also made sure to tell her audience how precious life is and advised them to enjoy every moment they are given. "So, while we have every single one of us together in one place, I just wanted to take a moment to remind you guys that life is short. We should appreciate every single moment that we have together," she said. Halsey made one request to her fans before singing "Without You." She asked them, “Promise me to sing along loud?” and then went on to perform her hit with Juice WRLD.

Juice WRLD's Death:


As The Blast reported, Juice WRLD, real name Jarad A. Higgins, died at age 21 on December 8th after suffering a seizure and went into cardiac arrest. The medical emergency happened while Chicago police and federal agents were conducting a search on his entourage and the rapper. There are reports that the young star swallowed pills as authorities were conducting their search. His autopsy has since been completed and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Officer revealed the results came back inconclusive. Additional tests have been ordered to determine the cause of death.

Following news of Juice WRLD's death, Halsey took to social media to pay tribute to her dear friend. Posting a photo with him during a party, Halsey captioned the snap, "Sweet boy. The fastest brain in the game. Your creativity, endless. Immortal. Rest in power. I can’t even explain the sadness." She was just one name on the many list of stars who addressed the rapper's death with fans. Machine Gun Kelly even used his passing as motivation to create a song for his daughter.
