Jamie Lee Curtis Will Return To Fight Michael Myers in 2 More 'Halloween' Sequels

Jamie Lee Curtis is coming back as Laurie Strode and will be fighting her brother, super villain Michael Myers.

Universal Pictures made the announcement Friday at Comic-Con in San Diego that there will be two more “Halloween” sequels.

The actress tweeted the announcement, "It ain’t over till the fat lady sings. Well, my friends and fans....I’m just WARMING UP."

The Scream Queen revealed that the first sequel will be called, “Halloween Kills,” released on October 16, 2020.

The following sequel, titled “Halloween Ends” is scheduled for release on October 15, 2021.

A teaser video was released along with the announcement. The studio also announced that mega-successful horror producer, Jason Blum, is back on board.

Curtis came back for 2018’s “Halloween” which became a massive box office hit. The reboot directed by David Gordon Green and written with Danny McBride made over $159,000,000 at the domestic box office and another $96,000,000 overseas on a reported $10 million budget.

The actress first starred as Laurie in John Carpenter's 1978 original “Halloween” and went on to appear in “Halloween II”. She did have an uncredited role in “Halloween III: Season of The Witch” and waited until 20 years later to reappear in the film “Halloween H20”.

Curtis also had a small cameo in “Halloween: Resurrection” a couple years later, which was the last appearance until the 2018 film.
