Grimes And Elon Musk Welcome They're Little War-Nymph! She Gave Birth To Their First Child Together

Grimes has been preparing for the last 9-months and the singer has finally become the warrior mother she always wanted to be!

The Canadian singer, real name Claire Elise Boucher, was due on Monday and Elon Musk confirmed that she welcomed their first child together in a tweet. Earlier in the day, Musk told a questioning fan that the birth was "hours away" and sure enough, he gave an update and assured that everything went well.

Grimes broke the news that she was expecting with a very graphic picture that featured her as a naked pregnant warrior back in January. Her hair was styled in long braids that brushed against her topless form. The artistic shot shows a shadow that resembled a baby growing inside her womb.

"being knocked up is a very feral & war-like state of being," she wrote at the time.

Elon and she began dating in 2018 and they took their relationship public by walking the red carpet at the Meta Gala that year. Interesting timing considering she gave birth on the same day this year's gala was originally scheduled to go down.

Two weeks ago, she shared a stunning pic that kind of showed off her huge baby bump and called herself a "chubby fairy" in the caption of her post. She wore a cute long sleeve striped top and she let her blonde hair flow freely. Grimes looked breathtaking in her pic, so her fans and some of her famous friends showed mad love in the comments section of her post. Janelle Monáe wrote, "THE cutest one of all ?," while Bella Thorne said, "Soooooo cute ??."

She definitely looked adorable in her full-term selfie but the star didn't have an easy time through the pregnancy.

In February, Grimes revealed that she really struggled with the third trimester of her pregnancy. She reached out to fans to get a little advice and support at the time.

"Wow I’m starting to feel bad haha... how do y’all cope with working and having a baby??" she confessed on social media.

"I feel like I was woefully ill prepared cuz I dunno if pregnancy is as visible or discussed as it should be. I just didn’t rly understand what I was getting into," Grimes said.

She often thanked fans for the outpouring of support and advice she got from other mothers.
