'RHOC' Gina Kirschenheiter Breaks Down In Court as Divorce Is Granted

"Real Housewives of Orange County" star Gina Kirschenheiter was overcome with emotion while facing off with her estranged husband.
The reality star appeared in court Wednesday in Orange County for a hearing with husband, Matt Kirschenheiter as they continued to battle over their ongoing divorce.
The former couple filed a judgment with the court, and will be signed off by the judge in the case.
Gina had requested she keep her last name of Kirschenheiter, to have the same name as her children, and the judge allowed it.
During the proceedings, the "RHOC" star broke down in tears after realizing the heaviness of the situation.
The judge in the case asked for one more disclosure document and then declared that their divorce will officially terminate on New Year's Eve, 12/31.

The restraining order that was put in place following Matt's arrest for domestic abuse will continue to stay in effect until January 15, 2020.
As we reported, Gina claims Matt attacked her after showing up at her home in the middle of the night, and ripped off her bra while threatening to kill her.
"He started to hit me on the side of the head with his open hand. When I tried to get up off of the couch, he threw me back down and began choking me. Then he started to hit me all over my body," Gina explained in court documents.
Matt has not commented on the domestic violence accusations, and the situation is currently under investigation in Orange County.
Matt is also upset that the domestic violence situation has been playing out on new episodes of the Bravo reality show, which recently returned to the air.
He filed documents making it clear he does not want the former couple's three children to be featured on "Real Housewives."
