Floyd Mayweather's Ex-GF Josie Harris' Official Cause Of Death 'Deferred' Pending 'Additional Investigation'

The mystery surrounding the death of the mother of Floyd Mayweather's children, Josie Harris, has just been made even more interesting after her official cause of death has been 'deferred' pending 'additional investigation.'

According to the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office, Josie's cause of death has been 'deferred' and information regarding the death has been placed on a law enforcement hold.

The coroner's office also says the case has held 'pending additional investigation.'

In most cases, this happens in the death of young people who do not have an obvious cause of death. Also, in many cases, it takes weeks to get back toxicology tests which will tell death investigators if the person had any drugs or alcohol in their system.

But, it has been reported, police believe there is no foul play in this death investigation, and there was NO drugs found on the scene.

According to the records, Josie was found inside of her car in the 'driveway' and it did not appear there was any struggle which could have caused her death.

No Suicide Suspected, No Drugs Found At Scene...


An autopsy has been performed on Ms. Harris and the body has already been released back to her family so she can be laid to rest. At this point, investigators are not ready to reveal what they believe to be the cause of death.

As we reported, there were no signs of suicide at the scene, including no note found. Harris was found dead at her home in Valencia, CA after one of her children found her in the vehicle in front of her home. We're told one of the kids called 911.

Mayweather has posted several photos of himself and Harris on social media, including ones where he called her his 'angel' and 'my baby.' The ex-couple has had a colored past after she accused him of domestic violence in 2010, where he was arrested and spend two months behind bars.

Interestingly, at the time, Mayweather claimed Josie was high on drugs. As we first reported, Harris was in the middle of a $20 million court battle with him leading up to her death. The two were scheduled for trial in December of 2020.
