Wearing a dark button-up shirt dress, Eminem's daughter stuck to the '90s vibe by matching the look with a pair of small framed sunglasses and a leather fanny pack. Holding her long brunette locks back in a sleek low ponytail, Hailie Jade brought the sophisticated yet sexy look together while standing on a staircase. Using a pun as the caption, she wrote, "one step at a time," which many fans are comparing to a lyric in her famous father's 2002 hit "Lose Yourself."

Fans began filling up her comment section with several nods to her rapper dad. "One shot at a time too, or one opportunity," one person wrote. "Good song, 1 shot," added another. Tons of followers gushed over her appearance writing things like "Ur stunning," "YOU LOOK SO GOOD," and "Nothing beats a little black dress." Someone else took this as an opportunity to defend Eminem over his controversial murder-themed album. "Dad's new album is fire tho," the follower wrote. When Eminem released “Music To Be Murdered By" last month, fans took issue with several songs including one that appeared to be aimed at Ariana Grande. In the song “Unaccommodating," there's a lyric which many said made light of the Manchester bombing in 2017 that took place after her concert. They immediately labeled the lyric "insensitive" and took their frustrations out on social media. Hailie Jade didn't just sit back and let people talk ill about her dad, she took action. The young starlet took to social media and seemingly addressed the controversial lyrics of her father's music head-on. Weeks later, Eminem stood his ground on the album and stated that people needed to "listen more closely." Writing an open letter to his fans, Hailie Jade's dad explained his reasoning for the murder-themed album. Stating that our society has become "obsessed" and "fascinated" with murder, Eminem said, "I thought why not make a sport of it, and murder over beats?" Warning "this album was not made for the squeamish," the rapper stated the lyrics were designed to "shock the conscience" and hopes they'll "cause positive action."
