Duane "Dog" Chapman was admitted to a Colorado hospital over the weekend. There's no official word on what caused the hospitalization, but there are strong indications that it was a heart attack.

Sources told The Blast that Chapman believed he was experiencing a medical emergency because of chest pain.

Richard Moore, a member of Dog's team, tweeted:

"I can confirm Dog is under doctor's care and is resting comfortably. Thank you for all of your well wishes- keep 'em coming."

The official Dog the Bounty Hunter account retweeted that, adding, "This is an official response from a member of Dog's Management Team to today's media stories."

Sources told The Blast that the hospital is still running tests to determine exactly what happened. They say that Chapman is expected to survive and is not in an immediate danger.

Members of his family are by his side at the hospital.
