Season two of David Letterman's Netflix show "My Next Guest Needs No Introduction" drops on Friday and while Letterman can get any guest he wants ... would he ever have his old rival Jay Leno on the show?
Letterman was out in New York City on Thursday and was asked if he would ever have the former "Tonight Show" host as a guest. While he didn't say yes or no, he seemingly left the door open for a possible appearance.
"Jay is so busy," Letterman responded, "it would be impossible to make that work."
The talk show legend was also asked about his big interview with Kanye West and what was his impression of the rapper after having sat down with him.
"Kanye’s a terrific kid," Letterman said. "Very nice fellow, very smart, happy. His family’s great. Impressive."
The interview touches on some very personal topics for Kanye, including his parents and his issues with mental health treatment.

Ye told David Letterman that he now sees psychiatrists in his own home, and described a few years ago when he became “hyper-paranoid” and ended up in the hospital.
Kanye also revealed he has not taken his medication for the past eight months and believes he is in a much more creative place. Even though there are people who want the star to remain medicated, he argues that, “You know, if you guys want these crazy ideas, these crazy stages, this crazy music, and this crazy way of thinking, there’s a chance it might come from a crazy person.”
