City Girls star JT is still locked up in a Florida prison, but she's already got big plans to get back to work and start making money as soon as she's released.
The hip-hop star had her rising career put on hold when she was sentenced to prison for felony identity theft, just as she hit it big with fellow City Girls rapper, Yung Miami.
Quality Control CEO Pierre Thomas shared a video Thursday of JT speaking from inside the penitentiary, and she thanked everyone for the support, including Cardi B.
"What's up Cardi, thank you for supporting us, " JT said, adding, "Thank you for 'Twerk,' it's my favorite video right now." Cardi not only featured JT's BFF, Yung Miami, on the track and video, but also paid homage to the incarcerated star with multiple shout-outs.
JT, who looks great, said she can't wait to "get home to get to that bag," and made it clear once she's free she is all about getting money and making new hits, "period."
She was originally scheduled for a 2020 release, but that has reportedly been bumped up to a sooner date.
