Chrissy Teigen and John Legend's Genesis Super Bowl commercial has been adjusted to not show a quick BROLL shot of a helicopter out of respect for the families of those that past away in the horrific crash that killed Kobe Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter Gianna, and seven others.

“Today we re-cut our Super Bowl ad, to remove a stationary helicopter that was in the opening two seconds of the commercial,” a Genesis spokesperson told USA Today. “The ad had been filmed, produced and delivered well before Sunday’s tragedy, so we took down the spot out of compassion and sensitivity to the families.”

The New Ad

This will be the company's first Super Bowl commercial and it is set to air during the second quarter of the big game.

The removal of the quick helicopter scene does not affect the commercial that much. The premise of the ad revolves around John dragging Chrissy to a party filled with "old luxury" stereotypes. The helicopter was supposed to be a sign of old luxury along with a horse-drawn carriage and a gaudy fountain.

"To old luxury, you had a good run," Teigen said while making a toast, "but now it's time to zhuzh you up a little bit."

Chrissy makes her way to the door to welcome in "young luxury." John rolls up in a new Genesis vehicle a little late which annoys his wife. Before Legend lets Teigen into the vehicle so they can make their escape from the lame party he makes her say the secret password. “Sexiest Man Alive,” Chrissy said before John let her in.

The Kobe Tribute That Moved Chrissy

Kobe passed away on January 26 when his helicopter went down in Calabasas, California while it was traveling to his daughter's basketball game. The vehicle was carrying a total of nine people, including Bryant and his daughter, that unfortunately all passed away in the crash.

The tributes from Kobe's famous friends started to pour in but Teigen was most moved by ESPN anchor, Elle Duncan's. Chrissy reposted Duncan's emotional video on Instagram and stated how much the tribute moved her.

"In a sea of tributes that ached my soul, this one had to be the most beautiful and heart wrenching. Thinking of their friends, families and the pain they are going through with great love. Someone take care of all the broken hearts dealing with unimaginable loss. Thank you, @elleduncan," Chrissy said in the caption of her post.
