Chris Brown Accused of Refusing to Hand Over Drug Test Records to Former Manager

By TheBlast Staff

Chris Brown's former manager wants the singer sanctioned because the star is allegedly refusing to hand over records from his past drug tests.

Brown's former manager, Mike Guirguis, filed documents on November 29 accusing the "Tempo" crooner of blowing off requests to hand over documents and information in their ongoing lawsuit.

Mike G sued Brown in 2016, accusing the singer of false imprisonment, assault, battery, defamation and breach of contract. He had originally been brought on to Brown's team to help repair the singer's image following his beating of Rihanna.

Recently, Mike G claims he served Brown with document requests several months ago, but says he has not received a single document.

Of the documents he wants from the singer, Mike G is interested in a batch of drug test results he says Brown took in 2016. The manager thinks the results from Brown's test could back up his claim that he was mistreated by the singer. He is also seeking documents relating to Brown's anger management treatments and lists of prescription medicines the singer took between May 1 to May 10, 2016.

Brown has adamantly denied all his former manager's allegations, and has accused Mike G of stealing money. The manager since tacked on defamation to his claim after Brown claimed he stole cash.

Mike G is asking for the singer to be sanctioned to the tune of $3,825 for dragging his feet on producing records. A judge has not yet responded to Mike G's request, but you can bet that Brown will have some choice words for his former manager.
