Britney Spears wanted to see her boys so badly that she holed herself up in her home for two weeks at the demand of her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, after an April trip to Louisiana. The 39-year-old "Oops! ... I Did It Again" singer reportedly traveled last month to her homeland state to spend some quality time with her family. The star's little sister, Jamie Lynn, still lives there and as The Blast has reported, their mother, Lynn Spears, has been isolating with Jamie and her two daughters.

Following her trip home to Los Angeles, Kevin Federline reportedly asked that Britney Spears self-isolate for fourteen days before spending any time with her children, reports TMZ. The duo has two sons together -- 14-year-old Sean, and 13-year-old Jayden. According to the outlet, the "Toxic" singer took no issues with her ex-husband's request and happily obliged in order to see her boys. Britney Spears' reunion with her children reportedly went down this month after she quarantined for the required two weeks.

She has now reportedly seen Sean and Jayden two times at her home with each visit lasting a few hours. The boys have been living with Kevin Federline ever since the drama between Sean and Britney Spears' dad, Jamie, went down. As The Blast reported, he was under investigation for child abuse after allegedly putting his hands on the singer's oldest child during a heated argument. Britney Spears and Kevin Federline were married for three years after tying the knot in 2004. Jamie Lynn recently opened up about her sister's time in Louisiana with the family.

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, she said that Britney Spears was feeling lonely at home by herself. "Britney was like, 'I want to come home, I don't want to be by myself out here,' because all of her family's pretty much here," Jamie revealed. "So she was able to come home for almost two weeks or so." Upon arriving back in Los Angeles, Britney Spears told fans that she missed her boyfriend, Sam Asghari, so much that she was actually losing weight from the heartache. After isolating for two weeks to see her sons, she not only reunited with them but also her beau of several years.
