Britney Spears' Brother Breaks Silence On #FreeBritney Movement -- She's Wanted OUT For A Long Time!!

Britney Spear's brother is breaking his silence on the ongoing controversy surrounding the pop star's conservatorship case, admitting publicly she has wanted OUT of it for a very long time!

In a rare interview, Bryan Spears is speaking out about his famous sister and specifically is answering questions about her ongoing conservatorship case, and the #FreeBritney movement.

"She's been in this thing for quite some time now. Obviously there was a need for it in the beginning," he began. As you know, Britney was placed under a person conservatorship in 2008, and her father was named her conservator.

Speaking to Drew Plotkin's podcast, 'As NOT Seen on TV,' Bryan explained, "Now they've made some changes and all we can do is hope for the best," adding the conservatorship "been a great thing for our family, to this point, and [we] keep hoping for the best."

As we reported, Britney's case is currently being heard in the Los Angeles County Court -- and the pop star's mother Lynn is taking steps to be more involved with her finances.

Speaking about their father, Jamie Spears, and his role as Britney's conservator -- has "done the best he could, given the situation he was put in."

We broke the story, Jamie stepped down after he suffered a ruptured colon and citing 'personal health issues.' But, as we reported he was accused of assaulting one of Britney's sons.

'It's Very Frustrating To Have'

"We've had to work together as a family to keep it all going. One person might be on stage and doing this, but it's a sacrifice from everybody. Everyone is putting in, to some degree, a little bit to keep everything going," Bryan said.

Britney's brother specifically discussed the possibility of Britney being released from the conservatorship, and if she is a willing participant in it -- saying, "She's always wanted to get out of it. It's very frustrating to have."

Adding, "Whether someone's coming in peace to help or coming in with an attitude, having someone constantly tell you to do something has got to be frustrating. She's wanted to get out of it for quite some time."

As we reported, a large number of Britney's fans calling themselves the #FreeBritney movement, are protesting the conservatorship, believing she is being held in it against her will.

"She's been surrounded by a team of people since she was 15. So at what level does everyone walk away or at what level does that get reduced?" Bryan said about possibly ending the conservatorship.

Plus, Britney's brother questioned, on the Podcast, what it would be like if she was let out of the conservatorship.

"I know what she wants but at the end of the day, what is the reality of that? What is the practicality of that? So are you going to call and make reservations for yourself today?" he said.

He continued, "I'm sure it's going to be an adjustment. Let's say it does get let go and she's on her own -- everyday task stuff is probably -- it's a great challenge, but it's probably going to be."

Interestingly, Bryan specifically mentioned driving which, we're told, is something Britney has been fighting for more freedom to do in her life.

"She's the worst driver in the world-- I'm not lying. I mean bless her heart, she really is not a really good driver and she hasn't had to do that," Bryan said.

Britney is driven by security guards and personal drivers if she leaves the house.

Bryan Spears discussed the ongoing custody issues Britney has going on with Kevin Federline, saying, admitting they are primarily with their father.

"They're with their dad, Kevin," Bryan said.

At this point, Britney's case is in the hands of a Los Angeles County judge who will ultimately decide whether or not the conservatorship will continue. It should be noted, Britney has not formally filed to be let out of the conservatorship.
