Brigitte Nielsen Gives Birth to Baby Girl

Brigitte Nielsen has given birth to her fifth child at the age of 54.

Nielsen and hubby Mattia Dessi welcomed their new baby girl, Frida, on Friday. The couple told PEOPLE, "We are overjoyed to welcome our beautiful daughter into our lives. It’s been a long road, and so worth it. We’ve never been more in love."

The couple was married in 2006 and announced the pregnancy in late May with a photo of a pregnant Nielsen and the caption, "family getting larger."

While this is their first child together, Nielsen has four grown children: Raoul Meyer Jr., 23, Douglas Meyer, 25, Killian Gastineau, 28, and Julian Winding, 34.
