Brad Pitt is shutting down years of tabloid talk about his relationship with ex-wife Jennifer Aniston, saying he would love to run into her at the Golden Globes.

The actor was walking the red carpet when he stopped to talk to Kevin Frazier and Sharon Osbourne with “Entertainment Tonight.”

He was quickly asked about the chance of him running into his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston.

Frazier said, “everyone is waiting hoping for this moment where you and Jen to run into each other

Pitt responded, “I’ll run into Jen, she’s a good friend. So they can (laughs) … the second most important reunion of her year. Yes, I understand. That was a play on “Friends.” He laughed off the question while looking extremely handsome.

Osbourne cut in, “excuse me, excuse me, what about me? It’s all about me and you. f—k everyone else.”

Pitt answered the question in Brad Pitt fashion, very cool, calm and collected. He would later take home a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor for his role in “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.”

During his acceptance speech, the camera panned to Jennifer who looked on lovingly while he spoke. The television reunion had many people in their feelings on Twitter. One person wrote, “My favorite part of Brad Pitt’s #goldenglobes acceptance speech is watching Jennifer Aniston’s face during it.”
