Bobbi Kristina Brown's Ex-Boyfriend Nick Gordon Dead Following Overdose

Bobbi Kristina Brown ex-boyfriend Nick Gordon passed away on Wednesday following a reported drug overdose, this according to his brother, Jack Walker Jr., who spoke to People to announce the news. Nick Gordon was only 30 years old. His death comes just four years after the passing of the late Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown's daughter who was found unresponsive in the bathtub of the Georgia townhouse she shared with Gordon. Sources told The Daily Mail he suffered a number of heart attacks on New Year's Day and was rushed to Altamonte Springs Hospital's Intensive Care Unit in Florida where he later died.

Nick Gordon's brother expressed his sorrow over his passing on social media writing, “GOD WHY I DID I HAVE TO LOSE MY BROTHER ON NEW YEARS” and “All I can do is cry.” He continued in a separate post by stating, “I love you so much big brother I hope you heard me talking to you at your bedside you are with me and I can feel it I love you I love you I love you watch over me and your nieces.”

Nick Gordon's sudden passing comes just three years after he was found liable in Bobbi Kristina Brown's wrongful death case. As a result, the judge ordered him to pay a whopping $36 million. His relationship and legal woes didn't stop with Bobbi Kristina either. As The Blast reported, Nick Gordon was arrested in 2018 after his girlfriend, Laura Leal, accused him of a physical altercation. According to the police report, she stated he struck her in the face and pulled her hair while she was driving. However, she later changed her tune and “denied being struck or touched against her will."
