Blac Chyna is having to answer to the government, after the State of California filed a lien against her for owing benefits to her assistant, who tragically passed away while working for the reality star.

According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, the State of California Department of Industrial Relations filed the lien against Chyna as the majority share holder in 'Lashed.' The company is Blac Chyna's eye lash business and online store in Los Angeles.

The case is in response to claim made by the family of Lorena "Patty" Hernandez who worked for the reality star for 3 years.

"Please take notice that the Director of Industrial Relations, State of California or the Worker's Compensation Appeals Board, determined Angela White has not secured the payment of compensation as required," the document states.

The government has placed the lien on Blac Chyna's business and property.

The Blast

As we reported, Hernandez is a longtime assistant to Blac Chyna who suffered a brain hemorrhage and died after a long battle in the hospital.

According to her family, Lorena “Patty” Hernandez passed away after doctors declared the her brain dead, Patty after suffered three brain bleeds.

The issue for Blac Chyna is that Patty suffered a brain hemorrhage, at the time, inside Blac Chyna's 'Lashed' Salon in Encino. She was rushed to the hospital but unfortunately fell into a coma afterwards.

The family considered filing a lawsuit against Chyna for allegedly being abusive towards the woman and not providing worker's compensation.

It appears, the claim was made with the State of California and now the government wants Chyna to pay up. If she does not, the state can seize parts of the business and sell it off.

At the time of her death, both Rob Kardashian and Tyga made donations to a GoFundMe page established to cover Hernandez’s medical expenses and help her children. Tyga donated $5,000, and Kardashian donated $10,000.

Blac Chyna has said she was a source of support financially for her assistant Lorena “Patty” Hernandez before her tragic death.

Several reports say Chyna had Hernandez's family in her home and was tight with her kids.
