Billie Lourd Sings Carrie Fisher's Favorite Song For Touching Birthday Tribute

Billie Lourd shared an amazing version of Carrie Fisher's favorite song on what would have been her mother's 63rd birthday.

The "American Horror Story" actress posted an acoustic cover of Tom Petty's "American Girl."

"I like to celebrate her by doing things that she loved to do," Lourd said the caption of her post. "So here’s a little video of me singing one of her favorite songs."

Shot In Carrie's Bathtub


Billie continued to state that the song was filmed in Fisher's bathtub which was "one of her favorite places."

Having the video shot in the bathroom was not only effective because of its history but it also had amazing lighting and acoustics.

Fisher's 27-year-old daughter ended her message by saying that she would "probably have a pint of vanilla Haggen Dazs and a Coca Cola for dinner."

Lando's Tribute


Carrie's "Star Wars" co-star Billy Dee Williams also shared a tribute to the late Princess Leia.

Williams tweeted a classic black and white photo from the "Star Wars" set and included a loving message.

"My dear Carrie...thinking of you.....You sure were A Force to be Reckoned With."
