Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson are NOT engaged, despite the rumors circulating the web.

Fans went nuts after pictures emerged showing the duo wearing rings, but The Blast has learned, the couple aren't taking their relationship to that level just yet.

A source close to the stars tells us, they are aware of the engagement rumors but don't feel the need to address them because they don't care if the world thinks they put rings on it.

In fact, fans may have jumped the gun because Delevingne and Benson have been wearing rings for a while.

The duo has been overseas celebrating their one year anniversary in France and fans noticed photos circulating showing them wearing silver bands on their ring fingers ...

that's when Twitter lost it.

“OMG ASHLEY BENSON AND CARA DELEVINGNE ENGAGED IM SO HAPPY FOR THEM," wrote a fan.

"Shay Mitchell is pregnant and Ashley Benson is engaged to a woman. Greatest plot twist EVER," another person commented.

It didn't help when someone posted photos from a party in Saint Tropez, stating they were celebrating their engagement.

We did some digging and both girls have worn similar rings on their wedding fingers in the past -- with Benson sporting hers for years.

In March, Delevingne was wearing a silver band on her left finger. This was months before the model confirmed she was dating the "Pretty Little Liars" star.

Delevingne displayed the metal out in the open 4 months ago while holding a puppy on a red carpet and no one said anything about an engagement then.

Here's a picture of Ashley Benson this past March too.

Notice the silver band she's sporting on her left hand ... again, no engagement rumors, despite speculation the girls had been dating for months.

Also, worth noting: Benson shared a throwback video showing her singing with former "PLL" co-star Shay Mitchell in a car.

See another band on her left finger? Despite being different then the one above, it proves she wears multiple rings, including ones on her ring finger.

Here's Delevingne in December 2018 ... and you guessed it, she's wearing a band on that finger.

She's wearing bridal white at a Teen Vogue Summit and showing off her hand way before any engagement speculation started.

This is Benson in February at a Vanity Fair event.

She too is in bridal white and sporting multiple rings including a band on ahah! her left wedding finger.

So you see, the couple has been wearing rings all around town forever.

While we can't say for sure if the engagement rumors are false (we put a call into their reps), it's clear they wear rings on their wedding fingers all the time.

At the time of this post, the girls have yet to acknowledge the engagement speculation.
