Rakim Mayers, better known by his stage name A$AP Rocky, was found guilty of assault by a Swedish jury on Wednesday.

There will be no jail time right now for Mayers, however, as the judge slapped him with a suspended sentence and ordered him to pay a fine to the victim.

The charges stem from a June 30 brawl in Stockholm, Sweden. Mayers was accused of beating up 19-year-old Mustafa Jafari.

Mayers admitted to throwing Jafari to the ground and kicking and punching him, but claimed it was in self-defense after Jafari attacked one of his bodyguards.

The case grew international attention after Donald Trump made freeing A$AP a top priority of his, tweeting multiple times about the unfair treatment he received.

On Sunday at the Real Street Festival in California, Mayers said, “It was an unfortunate event and I’m just trying to stay blessed.”
