Ariel Winter Gushes Over New Boyfriend Luke Benward In Sweet Birthday Tribute

Ariel Winter is smitten with her new boyfriend and doesn't care who knows it. Showing her affection to her man of five months, Luke Benward, and showering him with love on his 25th birthday, the strawberry blonde actress shared a sweet tribute gushing over their relationship. Taking to social media on Monday, Ariel Winter filled up her Instagram Story with several never-before-seen intimate snaps of the duo. The former "Modern Family" actress has been linked to Luke Benward since December but made their relationship official in February.
In one of the snapshots, Ariel Winter is seen smiling while being swept up in her boyfriend's arms. Looking into his eyes, the star captioned the adorable snap, "Happy 25th my love ❤️ I feel beyond lucky to be your bunny. Thank you for putting his permanent smile on my face ❤️." In another shot, the 24-year-old shared pictures from an adorable photo booth session with Luke Benward. "The most special boiiii," she captioned the snaps.
The actress shared three more shots. One showing them on an adventure and calling Luke Benward the "Best Pokémon partner ever!" A polaroid that captured a special kiss between the couple which she labeled "smooch," and finally one cute couple photo showing the two all dressed up. "I guess what I'm trying to say is ... dating your best friend is amazing and I'm lucky ❤️Bunny & The Dude!" she wrote on the sweet shot. Friends also did a drive-by wishing Ariel Winter's bf a happy birthday! The duo has been spending a lot of time together during self-isolation but their days haven't gone without a little drama.
Especially when the ex "Modern Family" star had to go to the hospital unexpectedly after chopping off the top of her thumb. In a cooking attempt that went terribly wrote, Ariel Winter revealed that she was slicing up a tomato for a Mediterranean meal when she got the top of her finger instead. During an at-home interview with Access she showed off her war wound and explained the scary incident. "I was so shocked ... it was more like I was hyperventilating. I was like I should be crying but I just can't believe it," she said.

Stating that she "apparently sliced an artery," the actress said she "bled so much [that] we had to go to the hospital." But that's not even the worst of it. Ariel Winter went on to explain that Luke Benward "brought the tip of [her] finger" to the emergency room with them and they mistakenly threw it away after a nurse failed to tell them her finger was in a plastic bag. Revealing they "didn't like tell me that it was the tip of my thumb, so I accidentally threw it away and we had to go get it."
