Anthony Bourdain's girlfriend delivered a strong message in the hours leading up to the news of his death breaking, but the meaning behind her words are still unclear.

Asia Argento posted an Instagram story wearing a shirt that said "FUCK EVERYONE." She then wrote text over the photo: "you know who you are."

Argento, who had been dating Bourdain since 2017, posted the message 2 hours before CNN announced the news that the TV chef was found dead in his hotel room.

It's unclear if Argento had known of his death already, or who she may have been directing the message at. Shortly after the news broke, Argento took down the post and has yet to make any other statements.

She last posted a photo with Bourdain on April 30, but was seen with him at a luncheon in May. Bourdain had been incredibly supportive of Argento's battle against sexual assault in Hollywood, and especially outspoken regarding her accusations against Harvey Weinstein.
