Josh and Anna Duggar are celebrating a milestone in their marriage, and while looking towards the future, the former reality star is reflecting on the good times and the bad.
The former “Counting On” star penned a sweet message Thursday evening to her husband of 11 years, telling Josh:
“11 years ago, before God, our family and friends we said, “I do!” — and my how the past 11 years have flown by! ♥️ The joys we’ve experienced together have far surpassed the shadows of sorrow we’ve walked through. Through it all, God’s kindness and grace has sustained us. I am thankful for the 7 children He has given us together (5 here/1 in heaven/1 due in Nov)! ? I love you so much Joshua and look forward to growing old together! (Gotta admit though…being young together is pretty fun too!)”
Josh and Anna tied the knot back in 2008, and they have five children, daughters Mackynzie Renee, and Meredith Grace, along with three sons, Michael James, Marcus Anthony, and Mason Garrett.
They announced earlier this year that Anna is pregnant again, and they are expecting a daughter this November.
Josh and Anna previously starred on TLC’s “19 Kids and Counting,” until revelations surfaced in 2015 that Josh had previously molested five girls, including members of his family, which led to the cancellation of the show.
He was also sued by a former porn star who accused him of sexual assault from an incident that allegedly occurred while she was dancing at a strip club. That lawsuit was later dropped.
Josh sought treatment and counseling, and has mainly stayed out of the headlines since the tumultuous time.
The chronicles of the Duggar family was revived as a newly branded show, “Counting On,” which did not feature Josh.
