American Horror Story: 1984 is getting physical.
The next season of American Horror Story is right around the corner, and showrunner Ryan Murphy finally announced the full main cast for 1984. Fans knew that Emma Roberts and Gus Kenworthy would lead the cast, but who would be returning was still mostly a mystery. However, in a new post on Murphy’s Instagram, he gave fans a sneak peek into who will be donning the ’80s inspired workout gear.
While fans knew that Sarah Paulson, Billy Eichner, and Evan Peters won’t be around this season, they didn’t know that Billie Lourde, Cody Fern, Leslie Grossman, and John Carroll Lynch would be joining in on the shasher fun.
There are a few new faces from other Ryan Murphy shows that will be appearing on American Horror Story for the first time, including a well-endowed Matthew Morrison from Glee and Pose‘s Angelica Ross.
Knowing American Horror Story, there is sure to be more surprises along the way. Are you excited about the new season? Are you ready for the show to take on some classic ’80s horror tropes?
American Horror Story returns on FX on Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 10:00 p.m. EST.
